Sports Massage Specialists
Boost your performance, reduce fatigue, and relieve muscle swelling & tension.
Whether you are an athlete or have general muscle soreness, we cater for both needs here at Wellbeing! Both Sports Massage and Remedial Massage help alleviate pain by realigning the muscle fibres and connective tissue as well as flushing away the bad toxins within your body. You will walk away not only benefiting physiologically but also psychologically.
What exactly is Sports Massage?
Sports Massage is used in many ways and benefits anyone who moves, no matter what level of exercise or intensity. It’s more than a treatment for injuries, Sports Massage produces overwhelming benefits physically, physiologically, and psychologically. Due to overexertion or overuse, minor injuries can occur that cause a great deal of pain and poor athletic performance. Sports massage helps alleviate pain and prevent such injuries that greatly affect flexibility, mobility, response time, and overall athletic performance.

Remedial Massage Specialists
Deeper therapy to a specific problem area rather than an all over body massage.
Remedial Massage treatment aims to reverse the negative physical effects of pain and discomfort you may be experiencing. A remedial massage is designed to balance muscle length, tension and tone which will in turn will promote the return of normal joint, capsular and bone position.
Remedial massage reduces stress, heightens mental alertness, improves posture and is paramount in escaping the vicious cycle of chronic complaints.
What exactly is Remedial Massage?
Remedial massage is a deeper therapy which involves the assessment and treatment of muscles, tendons, ligaments and connective tissues of the body to assist in rehabilitation, pain reduction and injury management. If you have long term chronic aches or suffered a recent injury resulting in structural pain and/or loss of function, a remedial massage assists in returning to normal health.
Pregnancy Massage Specialists
Alleviate pain without trying to force your body back to its usual position.
Pregnancy massage promotes relaxation, soothes nerves, and relieves strained back and leg muscles in expectant mums. It is a great way to reduce stress and promote overall wellbeing and it is especially beneficial in the second and third trimesters when the extra weight in your belly puts a strain on your back and neck.
Here are some of the ways we assist you:
- Easing neck and back pain
- General body soreness
- Headaches
- Leg cramps
- Swelling
- Aids the circulatory and lymphatic systems
- Improves blood flow
- Helps psychologically and mentally
- Helps maintain good posture
- Helps improve sleeping patterns

Injury Rehabilitation
Facilitates quick recovery, reduces pain, promotes movement
If you have been injured at work, playing sport or just doing something as simple as picking up the cat, your body may need some rehabilitation training.
A rehab program facilitates a quick recovery, reduces pain, promotes movement, restores normal function and prevents recurring damage to the injury.
Dry Needling
Permanently reduce muscle pain and dysfunction.
Trigger Point Dry Needling is a treatment technique, which uses small filament type needles to release tight muscles with the goal of permanently reducing muscle pain and dysfunction. Manual Therapists around the world are now using this technique to effectively treat acute and chronic orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
How Dry Needling Works
Trigger point dry needling is a treatment that uses fine filament needles to reduce muscle tightness and symptoms of pain and irritation.
Previous research has found that inflammation and pain within a muscle produces chemicals that causes an active trigger point. Trigger points not only effect the muscle but also the surrounding joints and nerves causing pain and dysfunction.

Accident Insurance Claims
We treat Medicare, Workers Comp and DVA claims with no out of pocket cost to you! We understand that being in an accident or having a chronic condition can be stressful enough without having an added financial burden!
