What exactly is Physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy healthcare assesses, diagnoses, treats, and works to prevent dysfunction and disability through physical means. We are University trained experts in human movement and function and work with you to assist in overcoming movement disorders. These disorders may have been present from birth, acquired through accident or injury, or are the result of ageing or life-changing events.
As Physios, we can also help you prevent further injury by listening to your needs and working with you to plan the most appropriate treatment for your condition, including setting goals, treatment outcomes and demonstrating rehabilitation exercises.
Do I need a referral?
As first contact practitioners, a Doctor’s referral is not necessary to see us. Physios, Doctors, and other health professionals will often work as part of a team to plan and manage treatment for your specific condition.
Tailored Physiotherapy treatment
We are trained to assess your condition, diagnose the problem, and help you understand what’s wrong. Our treatment plans take into account your lifestyle, activities, and general health. We believe that a hands-on approach to treatment is the best healing your body can receive. Our therapists are dedicated to giving you the best treatment utilising the newest and most effective techniques available.
